According to him, nearing completion are a few investment projects of regional companies of agricultural sector, which in total is planned to create more than 560 jobs. “We hope that these projects will be implemented also this year. In addition, existing agricultural enterprises also have a need for workers. Today there are about 1.3 thousand jobs, including about 400 for employment in seasonal jobs,” said Stepin.

According to the Minister, in the Tula region there are about 1 thousand agricultural companies and farmers, more than 160 enterprises in the food processing industry, the agricultural sector employs about 30 thousand people. With the participation of the Governor Alexei Dyumin, starting in 2016, signed 45 agreements with investors for the sum of 110 billion roubles. The projects have different deadlines and require the establishment of a total of 4 million jobs.
